In May 2025 TF1 aired a regional report on Trentemoult, presented as "the village of 1,000 colours". It was filmed in Rezé, in the village itself, not in a studio.

The report recalls that Trentemoult is a former fishing village and that the easiest way there is the boat, a few minutes across the river from Nantes. Then you wander the lanes, between village history and good spots, where time seems to slow down.

The colours the report highlights have a more precise history, already written on this site. Several kinds of house stand side by side: fishermen's houses, balcony houses, captains' houses, seaside villas, and more recent buildings. Until the 1990s the façades stayed eggshell. In 1998 the architect Annie Lebeaupin painted her house bright red. New residents followed, also inspired by the sets of the film "La Reine Blanche", shot here in 1990.

For residents, a national report changes the way visitors look at the village when they step off the Navibus. For newcomers it is a doorway: the lanes, the quay, then the wish to walk them. The History page on architecture and colours tells what the façades actually say, beyond the "1,000 colours" line.

The TF1 report is dated May 2025. It mentions the village, the boat crossing and the slow pace of the lanes. It is not a substitute for a visit: the place is still Trentemoult, in Rezé, on the Loire.
