23 quai Marcel-Boissard, Trentemoult, 44400 Rezé
Studio no.2
A dressmaker from the age of ten and later a self-employed decorative painter, Sophie Renimel turned to clay in 2017 and taught herself stoneware, then porcelain, for its translucency and finesse. Her vases, candle holders, lamps, cups and small sculptures have pared-back shapes that play with light shining through the material. In June 2025 her Atelier Memho, an artists' studio and makers' shop, moved into the former Cycles Peugeot shop on quai Marcel-Boissard, facing the Loire. She teaches small-group classes there and takes part in the winter Flâneries and the summer Grand Petit Bazar.
