6 rue Roiné, Trentemoult, 44400 Rezé
Studio no.4
Irish-born and living on rue Roiné, Siobhán Gately has worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer since the 1990s: children's books for Coop Breizh, a booklet for the paediatric ward of Nantes University Hospital, festival posters. She also created the bear mascot of Trentemoult's Christmas Flâneries. Her paintings and drawings sit alongside her 'silly sculptures', small ceramic figures that raise a smile. Her world is colourful, spontaneous and funny, shaped by her Irish roots and her offbeat view of everyday life.
