Born in Dijon in 1981 and based in Nantes, Jérôme Mulot has worked since the early 2000s with Florent Ruppert as Ruppert & Mulot, one of French comics' most inventive duos: Panier de singe, Le Perroquet, La Grande Odalisque (with Bastien Vivès)… Their trilogy La Part merveilleuse from Dargaud (Les mains d'Orsay, 2021; Les yeux de Juliette, 2022; La tête de Melek, 2023) blends adventure with dizzying graphics in vivid colour. At the 2026 Duo festival he and Philippe Chevrinais gathered the debris left by the Loire's tides for the exhibition 'Ce qui reste, ce qu'on laisse'.
