Painter based in Nantes.
Born in 1979, Christophe Compiano trained at the Beaux-Arts de Paris (DNSEP). Based in Nantes, he paints dense canvases in vivid colour, where figures, symbols and advertising meet: a critique of the entertainment society. He also passes the practice on by welcoming children into the studio. In March 2025 he showed 'Danse avec la vie' at Le Bras de fer, on the île de Nantes.
