On 21 May 2019 the mayor christened 'Le Ville de Rezé', a Mopelia-type sailboat built in 1973 at Trentemoult's Chantier du port (Berthaud-Lebeaupin) and converted into unusual accommodation by the Bathô yard. Mopelias, designed by Charles-Élie Chauveau, were among the flagships of 20th-century Trentemoult boatbuilding.
