  Part of the "Mardis de l'Histoire" series by Rezé Histoire and Rezé Seniors. Yves Menanteau explains what makes the Loire unique: how it changed since the last ice age and how old and modern works changed its course. A very concrete topic for a village born on the river's islands. Free, open to all, drinks offered.

  Six actors string together improvised scenes, for an evening built around laughter. Entry is by a hat collection: every donation goes to the animal-protection association 1000 moustaches, which takes in abandoned animals. A second date is set for 9 December. Pay what you like. Organised by the association 1000 moustaches.

  Stand-up night at the Trentemoult Guinguette

  The Trentemoult Guinguette hosts a comedy night on Wednesday 4 November. Organised by the Challans Comedy Club, it lines up several stand-up sets from 7.30pm, finishing around 10pm. Entry is free, but you need to book a seat online. A good midweek outing, on the banks of the Loire.

  Fotografo e autore che vive a Rezé, Michel Le Brigand presenta «Meilleure(s) vue(s)», una scelta da sei anni di foto del quotidiano: ogni settimana selezionava un'immagine e la pubblicava subito, un ritmo che paragona a quello dell'haiku. Le foto sono mostrate in proiezione su schermo. La mostra fa parte del ciclo Dire le voir, tredici mostre di fotografi in un anno all'Atelier Côté 3 bis.

  The Hangar du Pendule, which brings together artists' studios on rue Codet, is holding a car-boot sale and flea market on Sunday 8 November, from 8am to 6pm. The sale is outdoors, in front of the hangar, and entry is free for visitors. About fifteen stallholders are expected; every pitch is already booked. A chance to browse and to discover this creative place in the village.

  The Haute-Île Christmas market returns: visitors step into a private home turned gallery (Maison de Judith) and the Les Isles restaurant. Makers, treats and a small flea market; about 25 exhibitors, free entry.

  Atelier Côté 3bis, 3 bis rue Bruneau, 44400 Rezé (Trentemoult)

  A workshop for adults that crosses two ways of telling a story: with words and with pictures. Two authors, one who writes and one who photographs, accompany the participants over three meetings and then while they make their texts and photographs. The work becomes booklets and a public presentation. The workshop is part of the programme at Atelier Côté 3bis, which also hosts the "Dire le voir" exhibition cycle. From Saturday 28 November, 2pm to 5pm. The later dates are set at the first meeting. 200 euros, by reservation. Organised by the Accès association, which supports life writing.

Without judging, historian Alain Croix gives keys to read how Nantes remembers its slave-trade and colonial past: buildings, street names, plaques, works of art and graves.   Les Flâneries de Noël 2026 a Trentemoult (13ª edizione)

  

  Trentemoult, du Hangar du Pendule (2 bis rue Codet) à la Maison des Isles (1 allée Claude-Choëmet), 18 lieux

  Il primo fine settimana di dicembre, Trentemoult diventa un mercatino di Natale a cielo aperto. Per la 13ª edizione, Les Flâneries de Noël riuniscono una sessantina di creatrici e creatori, artigiani e artisti della zona, distribuiti in 18 luoghi del villaggio. Il percorso va dall'Hangar du Pendule alla Maison des Isles, passando per i vicoli. Alla Maison des Isles il collettivo organizzatore gestisce un punto di accoglienza: ci si può scaldare, bere e mangiare qualcosa e ritirare la mappa del percorso. Quest'anno l'evento sostiene l'associazione « Un petit bagage d'amour », che aiuta le future mamme in difficoltà: raccoglie sul posto vestiti per neonati e articoli per l'infanzia. Ingresso libero, dalle 11 alle 18.

  The company 1R2JEU performs Tennessee Williams' play, first staged on Broadway in 1955 and filmed in 1958 with Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. At the heart of the story, a family in the American South tears itself apart over power and inheritance, until the secrets break out. The evening is presented by La Comédie Mi-Sèvre Mi-Raisin.
