Trentemoult now has its own radio station

The village now has its own radio. Radio Trentemoult, with the tagline "The colours of the village", streams online every day, around the clock, from a studio on rue Boju (Solar Studio, not open to the public).

The 2026-2027 schedule follows the day: soft morning music at 7am (Sunrise), stories for children aged 2 to 7 at 8am (Trentemots), a vinyl selection at 11am (Tape Stereo), funk and disco at 5pm (Rare Grooves), and local DJs at 10pm with the Time & Space collective (In the Mix).

Every evening at 7pm, "L'île aux trésors" tells small stories of Trentemoult families and the big story of the deep-sea sailors. Sunday mornings are for books, art and interviews.

More shows are planned: a sea show, a show made by teenagers, gardening, cooking and meditation. The radio invites residents to suggest ideas or shows by email, through its website.

A radio made by and for the residents

Ouest-France wrote about Radio Trentemoult on 24 October 2026. The web radio has been online since 16 September and is carried by a community music label, Space Breaks, founded by the resident who started the project. About ten volunteers are already taking part. For now the shows can only be heard live, with no podcast.

The schedule is meant to grow as residents suggest ideas. Announced so far: a musical meditation show, a show designed for people who are visually impaired, "Kids", made by teenagers from the village, and slots about cooking, gardening and the sea. A studio is being fitted out. One detail says a lot about the spirit of the project: the jingles are recorded by children from Trentemoult.

The radio wants to be a participatory, positive medium rather than a campaigning mouthpiece. Residents with an idea for a show can get in touch through radiotrentemoult.com.

Radio Trentemoult ha lanciato a fine ottobre 2026 una trasmissione quotidiana, « L'île aux trésors », condotta da Karina. Parte dalle piccole storie degli abitanti della Trentemoult di un tempo, famiglie che hanno affrontato tante tempeste, per arrivare ai grandi viaggi dei capitani di lungo corso, con musiche dai quattro angoli del mondo. La trasmissione va in onda ogni giorno alle 8:30 e alle 19, dal lunedì alla domenica, su radiotrentemoult.com.
