Founded in 2014 by Anne-Laure Zina Godeau and on place des Filets since 2015, the Grand petit bazar is a Trentemoult summer fixture. It happens in the village, on place des Filets by the harbour, where the quays already host flea markets and festivals.

Every Sunday in July and August, 11am to 6pm, about fifty makers take turns: jewellery, plants, books from local publishers, lamps, prints, watercolours and paintings. Two pitches are offered free to charities, this year Un enfant par la main and Enkadense.

The 2026 season opened with Le Band à Léon and closed on 30 August with a double-size Grand Bazar and a concert. The closing Sunday gathered about thirty stallholders, and Jak Belghit played.

Earlier editions, already listed in the site's diary, show the market has lasted. In 2023 the 9th Grand Petit Bazar was on place des Filets every Sunday in July and August, noon to 6pm, and on 27 August the Grand Bazar moved into the yard of the hangar du Pendule, noon to 7pm, with a concert by Alex Ruiz.

In 2024 the Clés collective marked the 10th edition over two days, at Trentemoult harbour and the Maison des Isles: a makers' market, concerts (DJ Blacksad, Alex Ruiz, DJ Latipik, Hugues Pluviôse, Los Bombon), a musical nap, a spinning-top tournament and a fishing game for adults.

In 2025 local artists and makers were back on place des Filets every Sunday afternoon, at the initiative of the Clés association, and the last Sunday became the Grand Bazar.
