Jean-Jaurès school collective
A parents’ association of Trentemoult’s public Jean-Jaurès school. Every spring since 1996 it has organised the Trentemoult flea market, one of the largest in the département.
Bookings open in February.
Who they are
About a dozen parents run it: logistics, communication, volunteers, bookings, sponsors and activities. On the day, around a hundred volunteers — parents, teachers, neighbours — join them for safety, the bar, the till, stall layout and rubbish.
Where the money goes
Stall fees and the bar go back to the Jean-Jaurès school: trips, teaching projects and small equipment. In 2025 they helped the pupils make a podcast on Trentemoult’s history.
The flea market
- A Sunday in late March or early April, about 8am to 5pm.
- Quai Marcel-Boissard, place des Filets and the CNSL esplanade, from the port to the Hangar du Pendule.
- About 270 stalls. The 30th edition was on 29 March 2026.
- A big food bar at the end of the quay, near the Pendule: chips, sausages, galettes, crêpes, homemade cakes, a vegetarian dish. Plus activities.
- Next edition: Sunday 4 April 2027. The organiser will confirm the programme.
Book a pitch
- Online booking only, via My Brocante, opening during February. Pitches sell out fast.
- Trentemoult residents get early access.
- Private sellers only: no professionals, no food, no new goods. ID is required.
- 2026 price: €20 a pitch (about 4 m × 2 m, no equipment provided). No refunds.
- No cars on the pitch: park in the village or at the Atout Sud car park, five minutes away. Take unsold items and rubbish home.
