Could the Isles district be Rezé's beer stronghold? It is where the craft brewery Nautile was born in 2017, now on rue du Seil, and where Fanny Delhommeau created her micro-brewery Maze, at 2 bis rue Codet. Though not certified organic, she uses ingredients from organic farming and even grows hops in her mother's garden in Rezé. The “Maze touch”: beers with small bubbles, raw ingredients and little sugar. She produces 300 to 400 litres a month, sold locally, and handles bottling, labels and the deposit scheme herself. Excessive alcohol consumption is harmful to health.
